A Dawn For Every Dusk

sunset

 /skipline/

The afternoon sun begins to lower

As dusk grows on a little slower

With passion the sky flushes deep

Crimson and scarlet start to creep

 /skipline/

Against the rocks crashing waves

A bit differently begin to behave

 Softening, gently wash the shore

As if threatened, they no more roar

  /skipline/

The outlook at the horizon shifts

Though drowning, the sun drifts

The golden sea sparkles like glass

Splitting into a million piece mass

  /skipline/

Far beyond the stars peek below

Where the whispering winds blow

When evening ends and night falls

Every mortal in somewhere crawls

  /skipline/

A silver glow illuminates the moon

For a world which seems to swoon

Marking an end to yet another day

To restart the cycle in its usual way

  /skipline/

And again in another six hours or so

A bright new day the world will owe

To the sun rising carrying on the chain

As dawn takes down the night again

  /skipline/

To bring forth a fresh morning dew

Set across for another stunning view

Soon enough this day will too be gone

But for every dusk, breaks a new dawn
